NEW (2026-09): If you are interested in a browser-based alternative to STAN, give OpenSEFA a try. OpenSEFA is an active research prototype, developed by MATPLUS in cooperation with TU Wien and Marcelo Forets. Links to a free hosted instance, the user manual, and the documentation of the developed reconciliation engine (available on GitHub), together with further information, can be found in this white paper.
